Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway was the first and only teenager admitted to the acting program at the award-winning The Barrow Group in New York City. She is also a first soprano and, just three days before being cast in Get Real, had the privilege of performing in two concerts at famed Carnegie Hall as a member of the All-Eastern U.S. High School Honors Chorus. For theater, Hathaway also studied at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey and at the inaugural pre-college summer program at the Collaborative Arts Project, CAP 21, which is affiliated with New York University. Among the productions she appeared in were Gigi with Gavin MacLeod and Lillian Montevechi, Jane Eyre and Life on Earth. Also, she performed as Princess Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress, for which she was nominated for the Paper Mill's Rising Star Award for the best high school performance by an actress in New Jersey.

She has a younger brother Cory who has acted in some of Alyssa's movies.Alyssa's career started in 1980 when she landed a part of one of the orphans, June, in the musical Annie, which toured throughout the United States for 14 months. Hot on the heels of her success in the musical Annie, Alyssa next won the part of Adele in the musical version of Jayne Eyre and followed that with a role in Tender Offer at the New York Ensemble Studio Theatre.
